    Meet Amanda Hart, M.S., CCC-SLP

  • Amanda Hart, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist serving the Ellis County area. She attended Abilene Christian University for both undergraduate and graduate studies. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from American Speech-Language Hearing-Association (ASHA) and is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.

When Amanda is not doing therapy, she is spending time with her husband, Ian, and sweet little boy, Jagen, and their amazing dog Diesel. Amanda also enjoys reading, camping and spending time outside with her family. Amanda strives to be a child-led therapist who is continually learning and growing within her field.

    Amanda is:

    • A neurodiversity affirming therapist - She is passionate about working with the neurodiverse population through developing meaningful relationships and communication skills that integrate their unique strengths and interests.

    • A play based and child-led therapist - Children learn better when they are having fun, so a child’s interests and strengths become an integral part of therapy.

    • A well rounded therapist - She has worked in a variety of settings including public education, home health and adult rehabilitation where she has identified, diagnosed and serviced the speech therapy needs of a vast majority of disorders and populations.

    • A therapist who keeps learning - She continually seeks out additional training and reads monthly research articles so that she can provide the best therapy for your child.
